Application Development Engineer

Story Behind the Need

• The team supports enrollment, billing, and payments for the enrollment process application (Client supports government sponsored healthcare programs). The team supports marketplace, and we are headed into open enrollment.
• No additional needs/not part of an initiative.

Typical Day in the Role

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across
• Familiarity with the Softheon vendor enrollment and payment suite of systems
• Experience w/ 834 EDI files
• Experience w/ Marketplace business process for enrollment, billing, and payments
• .NET, Python, SQL experience, SQL Server Database, vendor installs and troubleshooting them

Performance Metrics & first day:

• Completion of assigned JIRA stories against sprint metric goals
• Completion of PROD support INC management
• First Day:
• Installing local versions of code blocks, connecting to services, familiarizing w/ the application flow and GitLab repos, confirming access.

Candidate Requirements

• Required: Bachelors Preferred:
• Years of experience required: 2-4
• Disqualifiers: Overqualified candidate, someone that has many, many years of experience and a very large amount of technology skills
• Additional qualities to look for: Microservices architecture, SRE experience

• 1 .NET, SQL, Python
• 2 Softheon application experience
• 3 Marketplace process enrollment, billing, payments familiarity
• 4 Prod Support Experience
