Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Hartford County, Connecticut. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights that support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will excel in utilizing tools like Microsoft Power BI to create dynamic reports and dashboards, ensuring the organization's data is both accessible and impactful.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.

Conduct thorough testing of reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Manage database systems and ensure proper administration for optimal performance.

Review and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

Present findings and insights to stakeholders in clear and compelling formats.

Set up and maintain workspaces in business intelligence tools to streamline reporting processes.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members on BI tools and methodologies.

Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and other BI tools.
Strong ability to create and test dynamic reports and dashboards.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of database administration and management.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders.
Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
