Job Title: AWS/ALZ Developer
Location: Remote

Role Overview
The AWS/ALZ Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions within the AWS Landing Zone (ALZ) framework. This role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and migration of workloads to AWS ALZ environments, ensuring compliance with organizational and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain AWS ALZ environments, including account structure, guardrails, and security baselines.
- Develop and manage IaC templates using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for provisioning AWS resources.
- Migrate applications from classic AWS accounts or on-premises environments to ALZ using best practices.
- Migrate applications from classic AWS accounts or on-premises environments to AWS Landing Zone (ALZ) using best practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline and Code Build, integrating with DevOps tools.
- Apply IAM policies, encryption, and monitoring to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitor AWS environments using CloudWatch and optimize for cost, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS.
- Expertise in AWS Landing Zone architecture and governance.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation, Terraform.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in AWS.
- Familiarity with containerization (ECS/EKS) and serverless architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Security) preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages: Python, Java, or Node.js.
- AWS certifications preferred: Solutions Architect, Developer, or Security.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on involvement in migration projects using AWS ALZ (AWS Landing Zone).
- Experience implementing multi-account strategies and guardrails.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and working in DevOps environments.
