Job Description:

Client is seeking a Cassandra Data Engineer who will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of database systems. Anchoring Client relationships and mining accounts with domain-deep solutions would be a key aspect of this role. The candidate will also play a significant role in refining our proactive and services for the Telecom Sector. The candidates should have prior relevant work experience, excel in ambiguous situations, and possess a passion for helping companies become more competitive. Required Qualification:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Basking Ridge, NJ or Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area
  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Hands on experience in Cassandra and Cassandra Cloud
  • Telecom Domain experience highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Cloud Platforms, data migrations, Hadoop, Spark
  • Good understanding of Cassandra Architecture, Data Modelling, Running Clusters, Database Health Management, Data warehousing
  • Good hands-on experience in SQL/Scripts.
  • Understanding of various Analytical Tools, Platform & Frameworks including Cloud platform, data migrations.
  • Strong architecture, data presentation skills.
