Job Summary:

• The SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect will lead the technical design, migration, and architecture of SAP systems transitioning from ECC to S/4HANA (RISE with SAP).
• The role requires extensive experience in SAP landscapes, integration technologies, and modernization methodologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise environments. The Architect will serve as a key liaison between functional, technical, and infrastructure teams while maintaining adherence to SAP and organizational best practices.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and architecture for SAP S/4HANA brownfield migration initiatives.
• Oversee the end-to-end migration of SAP ECC systems and associated components to S/4HANA on RISE, using tools such as SUM DMO and Conversion Cockpit.
• Collaborate with functional, BASIS, BW/Reporting, security, infrastructure, and development teams to define a scalable, secure, and high-performance system landscape.
• Oversee remediation of custom code, enhancements, Fiori apps, APIs, and interfaces (including PI/PO, CPI, and IDocs) for successful migration.
• Develop and guide migration strategy, system sizing, and performance optimization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and governance reviews.
• Review and approve implementation partner deliverables and participate in technical design and quality assurance reviews.
• Engage with SAP and implementation partners on RISE architecture, planning, and deployment strategies.
• Contribute to Architecture Review Board (ARB) activities, including creating and evaluating Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

Required Skills (Ranked by Importance):

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP technologies, including 4+ years with S/4HANA implementation/migration projects.
• Proven experience as a SAP Technical Architect in at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong expertise in SAP NetWeaver, ABAP programming, HANA database architecture, and SAP Fiori/UI.
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA migration methodologies, SUM DMO, and Conversion Cockpit tools.
• Proficiency in SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO, CPI, RFC, BAPIs, REST, and SOAP.
• Strong knowledge of SAP landscape architecture, system sizing, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
