Role: Security Cloudflare WAF Architect with Governance and Splunk (Analysis )
Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Contract

The team is looking for hands-on expertise in Cloudflare
WAF with a strong focus on IaC implementation, going beyond
basic network access and guardrails. Governance and framework alignment are
also key.

Required Skillset:

• Cloudflare WAF Policy Design & Implementation

• Baseline WAF policy documentation and final config files

• Deployment across environments (zones) with custom firewall rules, bot management,
  and rate limiting

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Terraform modules/scripts for WAF automation

• CI/CD integration documentation and guidance

• Strategic Security Oversight

• Governance

recommendations and alignment with compliance objectives

(i) Cloudflare WAF
Policy Design and Implementation

1. a) Baseline WAF security policy documentation and final configuration files.
2. b) Deployment of WAF policies across agreed environments (zones), including custom firewall rules, bot management, and rate limiting configurations.

(ii) Infrastructure as Code (IaC) a) Terraform modules, code and scripts for automating WAF policy deployment and configuration management.

1. b) Documentation and guidance on integrating these modules into existing CI/CD pipelines.

(iii) Strategic Security Oversight

Governance recommendations and alignment report to support broader security and
compliance objectives.
