Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst Healthcare

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Analyst with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, workflows, and compliance standards. The candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing system solutions, and supporting the integration of healthcare applications and databases. This role demands strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for healthcare applications and interfaces.
- Translate functional and business needs into technical specifications and system designs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver scalable healthcare IT solutions.
- Analyze existing systems and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, interoperability, and compliance.
- Support system integration with third-party healthcare platforms (e.g., EHR, EMR, claims, or member systems).
- Develop and maintain system process flows, use cases, data mappings, and interface specifications.
- Validate data exchange across systems (e.g., HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI 837/835/270/271).
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and assist with UAT planning and execution.
- Collaborate with development teams during Agile/Scrum sprints to ensure timely delivery of system components.
- Ensure systems comply with HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s/Master s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably within the Healthcare domain.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data models, including claims, member enrollment, provider management, and eligibility.
- Hands-on experience working with EHR/EMR systems, payer platforms (e.g., Facets, QNXT, Epic), or healthcare data integrations.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, SQL, and database design concepts.
- Experience in business process modeling, requirements traceability, and workflow analysis.
- Proficiency with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or HP ALM.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
