Network and Unified Communication Deployment Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Network and Unified Communication Deployment Engineer to join our high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in deploying and supporting Cisco SDWAN, WebEx Calling, and Contact Center solutions. You will work closely with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end deployment, configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer of cutting-edge network and UC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the deployment of Cisco SDWAN solutions, including site surveys, configuration, integration, and cutover.
  • Deploy and configure WebEx Calling solutions, including SIP trunking, dial plans, user provisioning, and device management.
  • Implement and integrate Cisco Contact Center solutions (e.g., WebEx Contact Center, Cisco Unified CCX/CCE), ensuring optimal call routing, agent configuration, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and project managers to develop detailed deployment plans, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Conduct site assessments, network readiness evaluations, and customer workshops to gather requirements.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and resolve technical issues during the deployment phase.
  • Provide post-deployment support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.
  • Stay current with Cisco technologies, industry trends, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 to 15 years of experience in deploying and supporting enterprise network and unified communication solutions.

Proven hands-on expertise with:

  • Cisco SDWAN (Viptela, Meraki SDWAN, or ISR/ASR platforms)
  • WebEx Calling (Control Hub, WebEx App, Devices, SIP Trunking)
  • Cisco Contact Center solutions (WebEx CC, UCCX, UCCE, Finesse, CUIC)
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, VPNs, QoS, and security principles.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN deployments, MPLS, DIA, broadband, LTE/5G integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud voice migrations, PSTN integrations, number porting, and SBC configurations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP/CCIE) Enterprise / Collaboration
  • Cisco Certified Specialist SDWAN / Collaboration / Contact Center
  • Cisco WebEx Calling / WebEx Contact Center certifications
  • ITIL Foundation or relevant service management certifications
