The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Instrumentation Flight Test Engineer located in San Antonio, TX. You will have the unique opportunity to work on the next generation Presidential Aircraft (VC-25B) and support Boeing Mobility, Surveillance, & Bomber portfolio products. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of technical designers & engineers making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft. Key responsibilities include test planning, configuration control, test conduct, as well as data collection and analysis in order to assure product safety, performance, and regulatory certification during all flight and ground tests. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level, Associate and Mid-Level Instrumentation Flight Test Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborating across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplines
• Developing plans for upcoming testing
• Providing engineering definition and authorization for airplane configuration changes
• Architecting, designing, maintaining or operating test instrumentation and specialized systems
• Conducting ground and flight testing on board the aircraft
• Evaluating test results and working to resolve any issues encountered

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience working with Accelerometers, Pressure sensors, Temperature sensors, Force sensors, Strain gages, Position sensor and Flowmeters
• Experience with calibration methods like regression, polynomial and hysteresis
• Understanding of mechanical design and the ability to decipher engineering drawings

Shift:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Entry-Level (Level 1): $68,000 - $92,000

Summary Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $79,900 - $108,100

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $95,200 - $128,800
