Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Varicent Specialist to join our Sales Performance Management team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining incentive compensation solutions that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Varicent SPM tools, strong analytical skills, and a passion for optimizing sales compensation processes in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Varicent incentive compensation models and reports tailored to the telecommunications sales structure.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Business teams to gather requirements, validate data, and ensure accurate and timely incentive calculations.
  • Analyze complex sales compensation plans and translate them into effective Varicent configurations and workflows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot incentive plan calculations, resolve discrepancies, and provide ongoing support to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and best practices to enhance Varicent adoption and utilization.
  • Stay updated on Varicent product enhancements and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Support quarterly and annual incentive plan rollouts and adjustments with precision and agility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Business or related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) working with Varicent Sales Performance Management software or similar incentive compensation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation concepts, commission structures, and performance metrics, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and report building.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SnowFlake.

Our Senior Application Developer, earns between $106,100.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
