Job Summary: A strong Back-end Java Developer is required to join a high-impact modernization initiative within the Stress Testing technology team. The primary goal is to enhance and refactor the existing stress testing platform, integrate it with LibRA CCAR Python models, and support ongoing operations. The role involves close collaboration with quantitative modelers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. This is a critical, time-sensitive project with high visibility and impact, with a modernization deadline by end of 2025 to meet regulatory requirements for the 2026 CCAR submission. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend components using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJs Integrate Java services with LibRA CCAR Python models for efficient data processing Refactor legacy code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability Troubleshoot and support the current platform to ensure continuity during transition Participate in unit and integration testing, code reviews, and CI/CD processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions Ensure timely delivery of modernization to meet CCAR regulatory deadlines Required Skills: 25 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Microservices 12 years of experience with DB2 and REST APIs Preferred Skills: ReactJs experience
