This role is ideal for someone who understands HVAC controls, enjoys building clean and reliable control logic, and can collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality systems.

You'll be involved in system design, database creation, integration of third-party devices, documentation, and occasional commissioning support. Experience with Delta Controls is a plus, but we're open to candidates with strong backgrounds in other platforms such as Distech, ALC, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Tridium/Niagara, Reliable, KMC, or similar.

What You'll Do
  • Build and configure BAS controller applications based on drawings, submittals, and sequence of operations.
  • Integrate HVAC and building systems using BACnet, Modbus, or other open communication protocols.
  • Review I/O lists, control drawings, and project scope with engineering and project management teams.
  • Maintain organized and well-documented programming files, backups, and version history.
  • Participate in internal reviews and help refine programming standards and libraries.
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and support field teams when needed.
  • Provide occasional onsite assistance for commissioning and client interaction.

What You'll Bring
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience programming or configuring BAS systems (Delta, Distech, JCI, ALC, Siemens, Tridium/Niagara, Reliable, etc.).
  • Experience integrating BAS with third-party equipment using BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols.
  • Understanding of IP networking concepts such as addressing, routing, and device communication.
  • Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred:
  • Any manufacturer-specific certifications (Delta, Niagara N4, Distech, JCI, ALC, etc.).
  • Experience with EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, or other control systems.
  • Associate degree or higher in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
