We are seeking a high-impact leader to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director's digital transformation initiative. In this prominent role, you will help drive the modernization of systems engineering processes, tools, and products across the Agency. A central responsibility will be developing and advancing the Government Reference Architecture - an integrated, cloud-based framework that enables collaborative development, testing, and integration of tactical software. This architecture will support role-based tools and user-specific interfaces across the enterprise. The team's mission is to replace outdated, document-heavy workflows and siloed communication methods with a dynamic, digital engineering ecosystem that promotes real-time, multi-user collaboration and automates documentation processes, ultimately increasing efficiency, traceability, and agility across MDA's fast-paced engineering environment.

- You must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A STEM degree preferred is preferred.
- At least 20 years of full-time professional experience.
- You must possess or can obtain an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in STEM field and 12+ years of full-time professional experience.
- Background with the Missile Defense Agency and/or other large scale DoD systems-of-systems
- Mastery of digital engineering transformation tools, methodologies, and implementation strategies
- Advanced software architecture and development expertise with coding proficiency
- Expert-level systems modeling and MBSE toolset implementation and training capabilities
- Program-level management experience
- Formal training in INCOSE or equivalent Systems Engineering standards and practices
- Advanced analytical expertise with the ability to lead complex technical documentation reviews and assessments
- Proven leadership in establishing, mentoring, and driving systems engineering best practices across organizations
- Expert-level ability to architect and implement Reference Architecture integration strategies in complex SoS environments
- Comprehensive mastery of requirements engineering, traceability frameworks, and full lifecycle management methodologies
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership
