A senior architect or lead integration engineer who:
Has deep hospitality/travel tech domain knowledge
Can lead and support complex integrations via APIs and AWS
Is fluent in Java or Node.js microservices
Is skilled in automation, DevOps, and performance/security testing
Works well across business and technical teams
Specialty Knowledge:
Develop & Maintain Integrations: Build, enhance, and support integrations with hotel sales & distribution platforms like CVENT, Meeting 1000, and other third-party systems.
Hotel Demand Generation Platform API Integration & Management:
Strong knowledge on API specification provided by different Demand Generation platform like CVENT, Venue Directory etc.
Work with REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and middleware solutions to establish and maintain system connectivity.
Data Mapping & Transformation: Ensure accurate data flow between systems using XML, JSON, and other data formats.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, hotel partners, and technical teams to define integration requirements.
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose integration issues, resolve API failures, and optimize system performance for seamless data synchronization.
Security & Compliance: Ensure integrations follow security best practices, including OAuth, token-based authentication, and data privacy regulations.
System Integration experience:
Experience with Micro service based Architecture using Java Spring boot or node.
Must have Experience on API Gateway (Like AWS API gateway, App Sync)
Strong knowledge on AWS services ( Like Computing services EC2, Lambda, ECS , SNS, SQS, Dynamo DB)
Knowledge on OAuth Security Frameworks & integration with IDP platform (For both application & API)
Able to deliver design discussion with client and strong knowledge on Java Design pattern & integration pattern.
Experience with Performance testing tools like JMeter and Quality engineering tools like ZAP, sonar, Veracode, pally
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide guidance to developers and stakeholders on integrating different hospitality ecosystems.
Lead POCs for various emerging integration technologies with Hotel Distribution systems.
Collaborate as part of a team with the gathering of requirements and technology selection process
Develop and present project presentation to technical groups.
Document work and implementation standards/processes/procedures for the broader work group.
Strong proponent and believer in Shift left principle, focused on achieving automation in engineering across DevOps, Automation Testing & Proactive Monitoring
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, related subject or equivalent experience.
Minimum Ten (10) - Twelve (12) years experience within Software Architecture and Development.
Prior experience working with hotel booking engines, channel managers, or travel technology solutions.
Knowledge of event management software and corporate meeting platforms.
