Description
We are looking for a Jr Technical Writer/Video Tech Support Analyst to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position within the healthcare industry, offering a unique opportunity to combine technical writing expertise with video production skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to create clear and accurate documentation while also producing high-quality video content for various purposes.
Responsibilities:
Create and edit user manuals, installation guides, technical specifications, and other documentation to support products and services.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather and verify technical information.
Transform complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content tailored to diverse audiences.
Update and maintain documentation repositories to reflect product changes and new releases.
Ensure all written materials align with company style guides and adhere to industry standards.
Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for training, marketing, product demonstrations, and internal communications.
Set up and manage lighting, audio, and video equipment to achieve optimal production quality.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts that support branding and organizational goals.
Oversee video project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality expectations.
Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and software to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, including the development of user manuals and related documentation.
At least 3 years of experience in videography, encompassing shooting, editing, and creating high-quality video content.
Proficiency in using technical writing tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, and Microsoft Word.
Expertise in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audacity.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot lighting, audio, and camera equipment effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with teams and present content effectively.
