RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a UX Researcher who brings depth in usability testing, qualitative methods, and a collaborative spirit. In this role, the UX Researcher will partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure user needs are always at the forefront of product development.
Summary:

Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end UX research initiatives focused on mobile experiences (iOS & Android)
* Plan and conduct usability studies, in-depth interviews, and other qualitative research methods
* Translate complex user behavior and feedback into actionable insights, compelling narratives, and strategic recommendations
* Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align research objectives with business goals
* Advocate for research-backed decisions across product teams, helping drive an exceptional mobile user experience
* Maintain clear and organized documentation using tools like Confluence and MS Office
* Share insights and facilitate discussion across teams using Slack and structured presentations
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience leading UX research in agile, product-centric environments
* Deep experience with evaluative research methodologies and usability testing techniques
* Exceptional ability to synthesize findings and connect dots across research efforts
* Experience with mobile UX research - especially in the consumer app space
* Strong storytelling and communication skills; you know how to bring data to life
* Comfortable using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for research planning and reporting, Confluence for documentation, and Slack for daily team communication
* A passion for championing user-centered design - without needing to be a designer
Tools You'll Use:
* MS Office - for crafting research plans, analyzing qualitative data, and presenting insights
* Confluence (Wiki) - to track past research, maintain backlogs, and collaborate asynchronously
* Slack - your daily communication hub across teams and disciplines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
