Job Details

Role: Java Backend Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC / Iselin, NJ (Day 1 Hybrid – 3 days office in a week)

Contract -W2 . H1b transfers are accepted.

Client round will be Face to Face

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring loose coupling, high scalability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and optimize asynchronous processing using Java multithreading and concurrency mechanisms.
  • Integrate with various data sources such as MongoDB and implement efficient data modelling and querying.
  • Build and manage data pipelines and real-time data processing with Kafka.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and provide mentorship to junior team members.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, multithreading, and concurrency.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
  • Solid understanding and experience implementing microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging queues.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Prior experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise applications is advantageous.
