Job description:
The UX writer works as part of a digital product team to ensure a coherent, consistent content experience across user flow-based experiences (e.g., multi-step product selection tools, user registration flows, quoting / configuration tools).
We are seeking individuals experienced working as part of a digital product team in an agile environment. Candidates should be able to
Able to provide quality UX writing, including microcopy, error messages, notifications, instructional text, and disclaimers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working closely with editors, designers, and product teams across multiple lines of business
Able to balance the needs of business, design, legal, compliance and technology stakeholders to create UX content that supports user flow-based experiences
Demonstrate attention to detail and use style guides and design systems to drive content consistency across experiences and align to the brand
Collaborate with product and design teams in Figma to define user flows, wireframes, and to prepare the content that supports the experience.
Required Qualifications
3+ years experience in UX Writing, Content Design, or Content Strategy, with a focus on writing UX content (microcopy, notifications, disclaimers, etc.) for user flow-based experiences.
Portfolio of UX writing samples
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with working in Agile (sprint based) environments
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., insurance, banking)
Familiarity with Figma
UX Writing certification
