Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys IVR Tester with hands-on Cyara automation testing experience to join our QA team in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IVR call flows, speech applications, and contact center testing frameworks. You ll be responsible for validating end-to-end IVR functionality, regression testing, and ensuring top-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of IVR applications built on Genesys platform.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated IVR test scripts using Cyara.
  • Analyze call routing, CTI integrations, speech recognition, and DTMF flows.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Execute UAT and production validation testing.
  • Validate voice prompts, call transfers, and CRM integrations across environments.
  • Work with logs, traces, and debugging tools to identify issues.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in Genesys IVR testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Cyara for IVR automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of IVR call flows, routing strategies, and speech applications.
  • Experience with call recording validation and prompt testing.
  • Understanding of SIP, CTI, VoIP, and Telephony protocols.
  • Familiarity with API, backend, and database validation.
  • Excellent defect reporting, analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Genesys Cloud CX or Engage platforms.
  • Exposure to voice bot or chat bot testing.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or Shell scripting.
