Experience level >=7 We are seeking an experienced Exchange Messaging Expert to design, implement, maintain, and support our enterprise messaging infrastructure.

This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server (on-prem and/or Exchange Online), Office 365, hybrid environments, and messaging security.

The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, optimal performance, governance and security of messaging systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and monitoring of the messaging infrastructure.

Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019/Online) and hybrid environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, mailbox access, performance, and integrations.

Manage Active Directory components relevant to Exchange (mail-enabled users, groups, permissions).

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure messaging systems meet regulatory requirements.

Provide Tier 3 support for messaging-related incidents and service requests.

Document processes, configurations, and system changes.

Stay current with Microsoft roadmap, best practices, and emerging messaging technologies.

Support and sustainment of additional complementary functionality of tool Avepoint.

Administer and support an enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange infrastructure

Troubleshoot Exchange related issues when alerted by monitoring software

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Experience administering EAC both On-prem and Online, Azure Active Directory and MDM

Understand Priority and Severity based on ITIL practice resolve trouble ticket within agreed resolution SLA - Ticketing tool SNOW experience is an added value

Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, Outlook etc)

Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills to communicate with Subject Matter Experts and Technology Architects

Excellent written skills to translate the thought process of Architects to well written documentation or deck

3+ years of proven experience in writing technical / proposal / process / business documentation

Understand and explain complex technical concepts Understanding project management and should be able to write content relevant to the standard Project Management practices Excellent proof-reading skill, Eye for detail and review skills etc.

Willing to work in US shift timings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience managing Exchange environments in enterprise settings.

Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.

Experience with hybrid Exchange configurations and migrations to Microsoft 365.

Proficiency with email security tools (Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Proofpoint, Mimecast, etc.).

DirSync/AAD Connect integration - Group management, RBAC. DAG , Backup and restore strategies.

Understanding of DNS, SMTP, TLS, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Implement and manage policies for email retention, DLP, archiving, and compliance.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 compliance and governance features (eDiscovery, retention, etc.). ,,,,,,,,,, Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.

Experience with mobile device management (MDM), Intune, or other messaging integrations.

Familiarity with collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. ,,,,,,,,,,

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
