Iris's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions, is currently searching for a strong for ETL Tester based in Toronto, ON to join their team.

Job Title: ETL Data Tester

Location: Hybrid 4 days (Toronto, ON )

Duration: 24 Months

Skills: Big Data Testing, SQL Query, Hive, etc

Job Description:

  • Possesses a solid understanding of SDLC and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics analysis, methodologies, and QA documentation standards (TLA, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case Design, Test scripts, Test Summary, QA Sign off and Traceability matrix)
  • Possesses solid analytical skills for complex problem solving
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SQL
  • Strong knowledge and experience on one of the major databases Netezza, RedShift, Oracle
  • Understanding Data Warehouse standards
  • Understanding requirements and data flow in each system based on DRS/TSD/ Mappings/ Design documents for performing functional, SIT and Regression testing
  • Strong knowledge to design test cases and scenarios based on business requirements
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders such as developers, BA and UAT
  • Understanding of project end to end process
  • Knowledge on test management tools such as JIRA and HP ALM
  • Provide Automation tool for testing process
  • Hands on experience to perform testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Hands on experience to prepare QA environment and run codes (SSIS packages)
  • Provide Automation tool for testing process Nice to have
