7169 - Business Systems Analyst Data Integration (Must Reside in the SF Bay Area to be Considered)

Summary

This role provides data engineering, data management, quality control, and analytics support across multiple enterprise datasets. The position partners with business and technical teams to support data reporting initiatives, develop scripts and processes for data transformation, enhance data auditing and data quality controls, and build data visualizations and reporting assets. Work includes creating and improving technical and non-technical documentation and supporting enterprise data integration efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Reengineer data loading, cleaning, and mapping processes for core statistical reporting systems and dependent products.
  • Reengineer data loading, cleaning, and mapping processes for additional enterprise datasets.
  • Create, update, and maintain dataset documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide data analysis, data validation, and data visualization support for enterprise data integration programs.
  • Recommend enhancements to data auditing procedures and quality control processes.
  • Develop policies and processes for data management and governance.
  • Create data visualizations and reusable visualization templates using business intelligence tools.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical project management and documentation experience.
  • Ability to analyze issues from system documentation and recommend solutions.
  • Experience managing technical projects, including conflict resolution, issue escalation, status reporting, and resource coordination.
  • Experience creating and executing data mappings and scripts to clean, compile, and analyze data.
  • Experience developing and implementing testing protocols for data and system quality.
  • Proficiency in R, Stata, and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective conflict-resolution abilities.

  • General
    Understanding of courtroom or judicial workflow operations.
  • Experience working within government environments.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to create and present executive-level summaries.
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.

Technical

  • Exposure to cloud computing environments.
  • Conceptual understanding of major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Prior experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience using SQL or other query languages beyond minimum requirements.
