Immediate need for a talented Desktop Support Technician . This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Niskayuna , NY (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • They will be doing IMAC work. It will be lots of moving PC setups, imaging, assisting with data transfers, and application installs.
  • Complete the physical breakdown, move, and new setup of computers and related peripherals in coordination with facilities and other DT teams.
  • Ensure all related technology is kept safe and secure during the move process.
  • Ensure all related technology is setup in the new locations in working order.
  • Follow defined processes for handling of defective equipment, including replacement, recycling, and disposal of technology
