Job Description
Bachelor's degree or above, with 5+ years automation system programming and IOT experience
Hands on experience such as installation / troubleshooting experience (development, design, and PLC-programming) in Shopfloor Manufacturing systems like OSIPI Data Historian, Siemens PLC, Rockwell system
Fluent English, working across time zones and with multicultural teams
Core Responsibilities
Standardize automation platforms in Shopfloor Manufacturing.
Support installation and commissioning of production lines from OT perspective.
Maintain global procedures and qualification strategies for the PI Data Historian Platform and work with site teams to ensure systems are maintained in accordance with Amgen and regulatory requirements.
Identify and collect continuous improvement for enhanced productivity, usability, and serviceability.
Drives and defines platform activities to ensure growth and robust production in respect to novelties and element specific changes.
Provides technical guidance for automation and IT architecture for development and design of automation/software for equipment in collaboration with suppliers and mechanical designers.
Ensures modularity and robustness for automation and mechatronics related technology for next generation of production equipment.
Support collaboration development of cross functional team
Develop the Automation roadmap for Sequencing & Life Sciences through both internal stakeholder management and external vendor collaborations.
Provides IT knowledge to ensure state of the art architecture for a digital future.
Actively engage stakeholders and customers during and post the ramp up phase of new automation equipment.
