Develop, design, architect and implement solutions for monitoring and operational automation, integrate automation across non homogenous solution stack, issue tracking capabilities, scripts, pipelines, multi-tenant clusters, roadmaps. Track deployment lifecycles, confer with development streams, and review capacity planning, release management, performance, integration, delivery processes, alerting, reporting, remediation, real-time system health metrics, tasks, configuration, patching, provisioning, system orchestration, containerization, cloudnative technologies, scaling, product enhancements, disaster recovery, packaging, security, networks, service mesh, encryption, traffic, rules, firewalls, logging, migration, root cause, code. Participate in scrum, confer with vendor-engineering teams, troubleshoot. Analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate test and validation plans. Use CI/CD, Bash, Python, Shell, YAML, Ansible, Openshift, Kubernetes, Agile, LDAP, Jira, Jenkins, Git, SQL, NoSQL, Terraform, Helm, Tekton, ArgoCD, GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, StatefulSets, Istio, TLS, MTLS, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, HPA, VPA, PCF, VMware, Microservices, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, On-Prem, Jboss, WebLogic, JDBC, NodeJS, MQ. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience reviewing monitoring, automation, capacity planning, performance, alerting, metrics, configuration, security, rules, root cause, code; developing scripts, clusters, roadmaps; performing troubleshooting; using Shell, YAML, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Jenkins, Microservices, Jboss, WebLogic, JDBC, NodeJS, MQ. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
