Job Details

What You Will Do

  • Manage and maintain the configuration baselines for our desktop systems.
  • Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to deploy and manage software settings.
  • Adhere to change processes and governance to minimize risks and ensure a stable desktop environment.
  • Provide level 3 operational support to resolve technology-related incidents.
  • Apply industry best practices and procedures to enhance end-user technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues.
  • Provide technical support to end-users for desktop-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to desktop infrastructure and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners to understand complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions, ensuring project needs are met.
  • Design client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Prepare and validate solution design documents covering areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, supporting team members in resolving organizational, operational, and process problems.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing desktop environments.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Extensive experience in managing desktop environments, strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Expertise in Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

Education:

  • BS in computer science or a related field

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
  • Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
