Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Program Manager to join a growing client in Greenwood Village, CO

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing multiple programs, primarily supporting the experience teams. This role involves facilitating meetings, following up on action items, updating decks, and ensuring the details of the program are meticulously managed. This person needs to facilitate the work and ask the right questions and understand dependencies

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meeting Facilitation:
    • Lead meetings with various teams to ensure priorities are clear and action items are followed up.
    • Facilitate discussions between team members and requesters to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Program Management:
    • Manage 4 different programs simultaneously, requiring the ability to multitask and switch focus as needed.
    • Ensure teams are aware of their priorities, deadlines, and next steps.
    • Create and update dashboards to track progress and highlight key metrics.
    • Documentation and status of the programs and help teams to meet targeted deadlines, escalate when things get off the rails
    • Ability to bring organization to the clutter
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Update and maintain documentation in Confluence (referred to as Chalk internally).
    • Prepare leadership decks and PowerPoint presentations that clearly communicate program status and updates.
    • Report on the activities and progress of various teams to senior leadership.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Must understand tools like Tableau and underlying systems to assess their impact on the program.
    • Experience with JIRA for tracking tickets and managing intake processes.
    • Familiar with the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Must be meticulous in managing program details and ensuring accuracy in documentation and reporting. Ability to multi-task and switch gears between different programs
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, requesters, and senior leadership.
  • Corporate Experience: Preferably from a large company or enterprise environment, with experience in managing medium to complex projects.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical aspects of the program and communicate them effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Capable of developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
