RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a part-time PC & Printer Field Technician in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Waukesha, WI.
Key Tasks:
* Onsite break/fix of HP Equipment
* Log service calls
* Troubleshoot units (Diagnostic Testing)
* Order appropriate parts
* Repair systems
* Run Diagnostics to confirm repair
* Repairs will need to meet GEHC custom configuration requirements
* Load appropriate O/S and applications
* Return good/defective parts
* Record and maintain all repair details
* Update spreadsheets
* Weekly repair/status update meeting with account team and customer
* Perform onsite conversion projects
* Perform quality screenings of material from company manufacturing as required
* Maintain trusted relationship with GEHC
* Pass all potential sales leads to the account team
REQUIREMENTS:
* A+ certified
* 3-5 years of experience
* Self time management
* Basic workstation knowledge needed
* Advanced computer troubleshooting knowledge
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
