Position : SAP PP

Location : Austin, TX

Duration : Long Term

Key responsibilities

Requirement analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements for production planning and manufacturing processes.

Solution design: Develop and design solutions within the SAP PP module to meet business needs, including configuring master data, MRP, and capacity planning.

Implementation and configuration: Implement and configure SAP PP modules, such as production order management, planning, and scheduling.

Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules like Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Quality Management (QM).

Support and training: Provide end-user training, support, and troubleshooting for issues related to the PP module.

System maintenance: Perform system testing, quality assurance, and provide post-go-live support and ongoing maintenance.

Documentation: Create and maintain functional specifications and other system-related documentation.

Skills and qualifications

Technical: Strong knowledge of SAP PP functionalities, including MRP, production order management, capacity planning, and shop floor control. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is often preferred.

Experience: Proven experience in full-lifecycle SAP PP implementations and rollouts is essential.

Functional: Ability to analyze business processes and map them to SAP solutions, with an understanding of manufacturing operations.

Soft skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are crucial for working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support

projects.

Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring PP modules knowledge of the key integration

points between the other SAP modules (MM and QM experience is an asset).

Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time

Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset

Understanding of accounting business processes

Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective

Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility
