SAP FI RTR - Tax Direct/Indirect Consultant
Duration: 6-12 Months
Location:100% REMOTE
Role: We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to implement, configure, and maintain SAP Financial Accounting (FI) modules, with a focus on the Indian version setup and Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance. This role requires expertise in tax configurations, global projects, and cross-functional integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP ECC 6.0 and S4 HANA implementations, focusing on tax configurations with SAP FICO/MM/SD integration.
- Configure and manage Direct and Indirect Tax setups, including Withholding Taxes, VAT customizations, and reporting.
- Work on global projects to establish tax configurations in SAP systems.
- Understand and implement tax procedures for countries like India, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia.
- Activate VAT reporting for European countries to comply with local government requirements.
- Configure external tax engines, with a preference for Vertex, and ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate on cross-functional module integrations, including SD-FI and MM-FI.
- Analyze business processes and prepare detailed requirements for tax engine setups.
Preferred Skills:
- S4 HANA certification.
- Expertise in configuring external tax engines and working with vendors and SAP Basis teams.
- Experience with additional SAP external tax engine connections, such as Ariba and OpenText.
- SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI).
