Job Details
- Design, program, and sustain PLC-based systems and migrate them to embedded controls.
- Develop and interpret schematics, BOMs, wiring, PCB designs, and assembly drawings.
- Specify and validate motors, sensors, VFDs, and other control components.
- Support production testing, compliance reports (e.g., ETL, CE), installation guides, and field service.
- Troubleshoot electrical/control issues and deliver training for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent discipline.
- 5+ years in electrical design, industrial controls, or automation.
- Hands-on experience programming PLCs using ladder logic.
- Proven ability in electrical systems design and development.
- Experience with VFDs, motor control, power distribution, and exposure to embedded systems design or troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with MS Office and strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Desired Experience:
- Troubleshooting control systems.
- Working in distribution centers or industrial environments.
- Experience with ECM motors and VFDs.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools.
- Exposure to Altium Designer and C programming.
- Experience with testing documents and reviewing industry standards.
