Advent Geneva Developer

Job Summary The Advent Geneva Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining reports using Genevas Report Scripting Language (RSL), supporting fund accounting operations, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. This role involves close collaboration with fund accountants and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop reports using Geneva Report Scripting Language (RSL) based on accounting data and business requirements. Collaborate with fund accountants and business teams to gather and understand reporting needs. Participate in development activities as part of an onsite development team. Conduct thorough testing of deliverables across various business scenarios to ensure accuracy and reliability. Prepare and stage deliverables for production deployment. Migrate reports to Report Definition Language (RDL) format as needed. Support Geneva application and Advent Geneva Adapter (AGA) maintenance releases. Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to learn quickly. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience with Advent Geneva RSL, including a solid understanding of application features and functions. Strong accounting background with a clear understanding of accounting principles and policies. Proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies. Experience with SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Ability to work independently with efficiency and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in fund accounting or financial services domain. Exposure to Geneva application support and maintenance cycles. Education: Bachelors Degree
