Production Support for trading apps (Big Data, ETL, data lakes)

A global brokerage firm is looking for a Production Support specialist with Big Data experience. You will work on a range of trading applications.

We are looking for a seasoned Production Support specialist with Hadoop or Spark skills, ideally both. Good understanding of Cloudera is important. You should be experienced with Data Lakes, metadata, and overall data management and compliance. ETL skills are also important, with expertise of treating data ‘as is’, as well as processing it before integration. Kubernetes and Access Control proficiency, along with appropriate security mechanisms, are also all essential skills. Experience of working with Java and Java-based applications is vital.

You will work on Production Support with Market Data, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange securities.  Working as a part of our application team, you will provide Disaster Recovery, day-to-day support, and integration work. You will also interact with technical and business members of our various teams.
