Job Description:
Senior Computer Based Trainer
Responsible for coordinating the development of training materials/courses, presenting course materials locally, remotely and/or via web conferencing, assist in drills, and creating simulation scenarios. This role will be expected to work independently to research and develop training and be familiar with the applicable operator area processes and procedures, and knowledge of the tools used. The trainer is also responsible for the administration of progression tests or review boards, course evaluations, and material/course updates. Coordinate the development and delivery of technical skills training in support of engineering activities.Provide information, documentation and procedures for power utility, real-time operations, and support functions. Coordinate the maintenance of the training/qualification databases.Develop and implement training using lessons learned (switching errors, mitigations, etc.) as well as training materials and/or courses.Research, design and develop training programs and materials for the initial, continuing, and emergency preparedness training.Provide training via classroom, simulation, simulator, self-study and e-learning curricula, and vendor provided training.
