Job Details
A High-Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) designs, deploys, and manages HPC clusters within Google Cloud Platform, optimizing them for performance and efficiency. This role involves configuring Compute Engine VMs, storage solutions, and networking infrastructure, as well as managing job schedulers like Slurm. The engineer also works with users to optimize workloads, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability
Skills required.
- The major skill needed, is hosting Ansys and Comsol on HPC in Google Cloud Platform.
- Configuring license packs in Ansys
- Configuring Authentication using SSO
- Knowledge of Guacamole
- Knowledge of file shares and storage buckets in Google Cloud Platform
- Linux skills
- Knowledge of networking particular to VPC, network Security, VPC peering.
- Knowledge of different API's and token exchanges.
