Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Merrimack, NH (Onsite - Only Locals)

Duration: 6 12 months contract

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support the design and development of innovative financial technology solutions for advisors and clients. This role focuses on FI Trading systems, spanning UI, middleware, and backend analysis, within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data and systems analysis to support FI Trading applications.
• Conduct gap analysis, code research, and root-cause investigations across application layers.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver technical solutions.
• Utilize tools like SQL, REST, SOAP, JSON, APIs, and Splunk for data analysis and system integration.
• Support Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story refinement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in software development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and software development principles.
• Proficient in working with APIs and service integrations (REST, SOAP).
• Previous experience in the financial industry, preferably brokerage or trading.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
