Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Experience in Retail Replenishment and Allocation, Planning or other relevant function.
Experience in a Retail environment required
Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
Experience with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all aspects of the business
Planning tool/system experience considered an asset (Relex preferred)
Knowledge of overall supply chain/logistics best practices; includes international and domestic logistic movement experience considered an asset
The Merchandise Data Analyst Contractor (Relex) will decipher, cleanse, and properly re-map the necessary master data aggregated from multiple key cross-functional stakeholders in order to unlock the full potential of the end-to-end Planning Relex platform.
Responsibilities:
Cleanse product master data, including hierarchies, coordination groups, attributes, and characteristics. Map data from existing sources (Fusion, Excel files, legacy systems) to the new hierarchy and attribute structure.
Identify missing or incomplete data, source it from relevant business stakeholders or systems, and validate accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and maintain master data in Excel or other agreed formats to facilitate upload into SAP/Fusion systems.
Work closely with SAP technical resources to ensure data uploads are correctly executed and system impacts are managed.
Act as a bridge between business teams (merchandising, planning) and technical teams to ensure master data supports replenishment and allocation processes.
Participate in rediscovery sessions with RELEX and business to confirm data requirements and interface usage.
Help establish processes for ongoing maintenance of master data attributes post-cleanup.
