Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking a D365 Functional Consultant, to join one of the leading providers of high-quality equipment. The D365 Functional Consultant will collaborate closely with the process leads to ensure the D365 setups and configurations are ready for production.

Responsibilities of the D395 Functional Consultant include:

  • Map current business processes and design future-state processes leveraging D365 F&O to drive efficiency and agility.
  • Assist in developing and delivering end-user training programs to ensure successful system adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive training documentation, user manuals, and quick reference guides for various end-user groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, finance) to ensure system alignment with business goals.
  • Lead user training, provide go-live support, and drive post-implementation process improvements.


Qualifications for the D365 Functional Consultant include:

  • 3+ years of experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft D365 F&O or Dynamics AX, particularly in manufacturing and production planning.
  • Direct experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, with a solid grasp of production workflows, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and translate needs into functional specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and shop floor control within D365 F&O.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, computer science, or a related field.


Compensation for the D365 Functional Consultant include:

  • Salary: $166,000 - $170,000 -- Hourly $80/hr - $84/hr
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
