Job Title: Senior AEM Developer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite - 3 days per week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior AEM Developer to join our dynamic digital experience team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.4 or newer), strong Java development skills, and hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.
This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest Adobe Experience Cloud solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX, QA, and Project Management.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, servlets, and integrations.

Work with AEM 6.4+, focusing on Sling Models, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and JCR/Oak repository.

Implement and integrate Web Services, REST APIs, XML, JSON across AEM platforms.

Customize Coral/Granite UI and extend AEM s core functionalities such as Launches and Workflows.

Apply deep understanding of AEM Security, Access Controls, and performance tuning.

Collaborate with teams on CI/CD processes, automation, and testing using Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Selenium.

Implement SPA templating and caching solutions to enhance site performance.

Partner with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics for digital marketing integration.

Work closely with QA, UX, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Document and communicate technical processes clearly and effectively.
Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience in AEM development (AEM 6.4 or newer).

Strong background in Java, OSGi, Sling Framework, JCR, and Dispatcher.

Proficient in REST API, JSON, XML, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, and caching strategies.

Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.

Expertise in Coral/Granite UI customization and AEM component development.

Experience with Lucene indexing, SPA templating, and AEM performance tuning.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Selenium).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Exposure to other CMS platforms or DXP solutions is a plus.
