Now Hiring: Data Center Technician

About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and decommissioning the physical infrastructure that powers our data centers. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber runners, containment systems, and trunk lines.
  • Manage installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure.
  • Deliver scalable, repeatable solutions with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Provide structured updates to stakeholders on project progress.
  • Maintain a clean and organized data center environment.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve project challenges.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency with telecom hand tools.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Understanding of job site safety protocols.
  • Ability to read floor plans and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with field terminations, labeling, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with MDF/IDF closet layout and cable dressing.
  • Experience in data center environments.
  • Ability to install ladder racks and seismic bracing.
  • Basic knowledge of copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with fiber trunk dressing and fusion splicing (Ribbon/Single OSP/ISP).
  • Ability to install, connect, and decommission network equipment.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, pulling cables, and climbing ladders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
