Payrate: $21.27 - $23.66/hr.
Summary:
This is an engineering lab role, and the candidate will work closely with our EE design team on mobile computing products and charging/communication cradles. The ideal candidate would have the desire to learn about product development from the testing aspect including bench troubleshooting and rework compliance testing of ESD/EMI as well as temperature chamber to verify they operate under customer demands.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $21.27 - $23.66 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype products.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
- Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
- Follows and reviews established processes to test preliminary product assemblies.
- Performs operational test and fault isolation on product assemblies and hardware.
- Assists product development engineers in the diagnosis and replication of product failures.
- Debugs and characterizes defects, provide detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports.
- Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs and ensures testing is completed for each design revision. Records all results of tests and maintains lab documentation as required.
Education/Experience:
- Associate Degree, BS degree preferred
- Electrical background minimum 2 years Technology degree preferred.
