About the Role:
The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Subsystems and CoreSim Team is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that design and produce the hardware, algorithms, and software required to solve the challenging problems of controlling spacecraft systems in a harsh, zero-g environment.
This position will report directly to the GN&C Manager within the GN&C Talent Center organization of Lockheed Martin Space
As an experienced GN&C analyst in this role, you will be tasked with supporting multiple satellite buses including, but not limited to, the LM400 and LM2100 satellite series.
What you will be doing:
Design, analyze, and optimize GN&C subsystem dynamics and control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
Develop and verify high-fidelity simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and C++ environments.
Support system integration, test, and verification activities to ensure subsystem performance meets program requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the program life cycle, from requirements through verification and validation.
Contribute to mission operations and post-launch performance assessments, as needed.
Successful applicants generally have at least 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline, such as Aerospace Engineering or other related field.

Skill Requirements:
Possess general domain experience in spacecraft controller design and optimization.
Experience in developing and verifying performance of simulation models in simulation environments using programming tools that include MATLAB/Simulink, C++
Security Clearance / Work Authorization:
To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to ====.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI (adjudicated or eligibility) is required for consideration.
Top Secret security clearance with adjudicated SCI (i.e. TS/SCI) is required prior to start.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
