Location: 100% Remote
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As an Analytics Coach, you will join Turnberry's Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.
Responsibilities:
Analytics Enablement (Player Mode - 50%)
Design and build supply chain templates in Power BI Workspace (e.g., dashboards for on-time delivery, order cycle time, transportation costs)
Clean, join, and model data from Azure Synapse and Alteryx as needed for pilot deliverables
Customize templates and visualizations based on user personas (analysts, managers, leaders)
Ensure templates follow best practices in design, accessibility, and business relevance
Coaching and Change Support (Coach Mode - 50%)
Deliver small-group and 1:1 coaching sessions with pilot participants to support storytelling skill development
Support pilot training delivery
Guide end users on how to navigate data sources, use Power BI tools, and apply templates to real-world work
Gather feedback and continuously refine training materials and templates
Promote adoption and confidence through positive reinforcement, structured feedback, and clear expectations
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or operations
Hands-on expertise with Power BI (Workspace), Azure Synapse, and Alteryx (or similar)
Strong knowledge of supply chain analytics, particularly in the Deliver function (order fulfillment, transportation, inventory, etc.)
Experience working with or building on top of a data lake or enterprise data warehouse
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience coaching non-technical or self-taught users is highly valued
Ability to translate business needs into meaningful data stories, and vice versa
Bonus: experience with adult learning principles, data literacy initiatives, or Citizen Development programs
The salary range for this role is $205,000 to $290,000 or the hourly equivalent.
