Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Vistex Consultant with deep expertise in Rebates and Agreements Management to lead design, configuration, and deployment of complex incentive, rebate, and chargeback solutions.
The role requires strong functional knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and close collaboration with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Vistex Rebates & Agreements
- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Vistex Rebates & Agreements (IP modules).
- Design and configure:
- Customer & vendor rebates
- Sales incentives, commissions, and chargebacks
- Bill-backs, deductions, and accrual-based settlements
- Configure agreement lifecycle management including:
- Agreement creation, eligibility, settlement rules, and approvals
- Accrual, reversal, and settlement processes
- Manage condition techniques, scales, formulas, and settlement calendars.
Integration & Process Design
- Integrate Vistex with:
- SAP SD (Pricing, Billing)
- SAP MM (Purchasing, Vendor Rebates)
- SAP FI (Accruals, Settlement, GL postings)
- Support end-to-end business scenarios across Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay.
- Work with ABAP/Vistex technical teams for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design and support:
- Standard and custom Vistex reports
- Accrual vs. actual analysis
- Agreement performance and rebate exposure reporting
- Enable business-friendly dashboards using embedded analytics or BW/SAC where applicable.
Testing & Deployment
- Prepare and execute:
- Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT
- Data migration and cutover activities
- Support hypercare and post-go-live stabilization.
Stakeholder Management
- Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Vistex solutions.
- Provide user training and functional documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP Vistex expertise.
- Proven experience in:
- Rebates & Agreements configuration
- Incentives, chargebacks, bill-backs
- Accruals and settlement processing
- Strong understanding of SAP SD, MM, and FI integration.
- Experience with S/4HANA implementations is a strong plus.
- Excellent functional design, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with complex pricing scenarios.
- Exposure to Vistex analytics and reporting.
- Knowledge of ABAP debugging for functional analysis.
