We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Infrastructure (Net/Sys) Engineer to join our team in Davenport, Iowa. As an Infrastructure (Net/Sys) Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems, ensuring network security, and supporting cloud services within the construction industry. Responsibilities
Configure and manage Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
Implement and maintain firewalls, with a preference for Fortinet and SonicWall technologies
Oversee network load balancing and the configuration of switches and routers
Manage cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365 and D365 platforms
Perform regular backups and monitor backup technologies to safeguard critical data
Support and maintain computer hardware within datacenter environments
Develop and execute configuration management processes for IT systems
Ensure network security and connectivity across all infrastructure components
Requirements
Proven experience of 5+ years in infrastructure engineering within the construction or contractor industry.
Expertise in backup technologies, ensuring data integrity and recovery processes.
Strong proficiency in computer hardware and troubleshooting complex systems.
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools and best practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of datacenter operations and maintenance.
Skilled in managing and configuring switch routers for optimal network performance.
Proficiency in network load balancing to ensure efficient resource distribution.
Advanced understanding of firewall setup, configuration, and security protocols.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Experience with cloud technologies and their integration into infrastructure systems.
Familiarity with D365 and its implementation in enterprise environments.
