Title: SAS Data Analyst
Duration : 6 months
Onsite in McLean VA

SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) is an advanced analytics tool traditionally deployed on-premises

Your Impact:
  • Cultivate and manage relationships across multiple Single-Family departments, including Operations application or business process owners, Loan Advisor Strategic Delivery and Single-Family Data.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with key Business and IT partners at all levels.
  • Facilitate and prepare for meetings including creating agendas, develop meeting materials, scribe meeting minutes and outline action items and next steps.
  • Lead, support and prioritize multiple concurrent efforts in various capacities.
  • Continuously improve processes that streamline knowledge of data to understand impacts of change.
  • Prepare for meetings by establishing a clear objective, confirming attendee participation and creating meeting materials ahead of the discussion.
  • Clearly outline and guide other's data analysis approach and assumptions to verify efforts satisfy the objective and meet deliverable timelines.
  • Analyze, design, develop and execute tasks that meet the objective.
  • Provide support to application owners to bring data expertise from IT into the business.
  • Perform impact assessments and proposing issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time with accurate information requiring limited oversight.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in SAS data analysis, business process modeling, data management, or operations.
  • College degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • Understanding of Cloud technology (AWS) and data management (Data Lake, Datawarehouse)
  • Ability to operate as a self-motivated, pro-active, and result-driven problem solver with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze IT business processes and data architecture diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions, SQL, JSON, XML, SAS, or Python
