Job Details

TEKsystems has a 6 month contract for a Project Manager with SAP experience. The role is hybrid and requires Tue Wed Thur onsite in Lakewood, CO and Monday and Friday is remote.
Our customer is hiring a senior IT Project Manager to assist with multiple projects over the coming months. The PM will spend time across 2 - 4 projects at any given time, most of which will involve SAP (but this is not an SAP implementation or upgrade). This role is currently funded through 3/31/26, and there is a good chance of an extension beyond this date.
Upcoming Projects:
1) Indirect Sales & Use Tax project to implement Vertex. This will be a global implementation with the U.S. going live first in February, followed by Brazil, then the UK.
2) Goods in Transit project where they will transfer the title of goods at point of shipment.
Customer utilizes a modified Agile methodology, with scrum masters and product owners.
The PM should have experience with SAP projects and have experience in a validated or regulated environment - i.e.: life sciences, aerospace, defense, energy industries.
They use ServiceNow for ITSM, MS Project as their project management software, Visio, and PowerPoint.

The PM MUST work onsite at corporate HQ 3 days/week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday can work from home.
JOB SUMMARY
Working under broad supervision, manages all or parts of project lifecycle from initiation to close. Defines project requirements and scope, and prepares formal project documents for the execution of a project. Effectively collaborate with vendors, technical resources and stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate for project needs and status.
Defines and manages projects of small to moderate scope.
Facilitates and coordinates activities and tasks involving project scope, schedule and budget.
Facilitates the definition of quality and risk, and manages the project accordingly.
Tracks status and metrics on the project delivery involving scope, schedule and budget.
Resolves and/or escalates project-related issues in a timely fashion.
Manages communications, expectations, and interactions with all departments and internal stakeholders.
Delivers informative, well-organized presentations on project status and selected project topics.
Tracks lessons learned and shares with team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience

Skills
Ability to manage all or parts of project lifecycle, from initiation to close.
Has had responsibility for preparing formal project documents for the execution of a project.
Experienced with defining the project requirements and scope.
Demonstrated effective use of the disciplines of project management practices to plan and manage projects.
Shown ability to effectively collaborate with vendors, technical resources and stakeholders.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
PMP or equivalent certification is desirable but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
