Job Description

The Mammographer is expected to perform high-quality Mammographic images. This shall be accomplished within the positioning guidelines of the department and following all accepted radiation safety procedures. The Mammographer will also take part in Quality Improvement and Quality Control activities.


Education

  • Graduate of the AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT and State of Massachusetts registered in good standing, both in Radiography and Mammography.
  • Certification and clinical experience in Mammography.
  • CPR Certified and able to maintain on an annual basis.


Experience

  • 1 3 years of experience in the field of Radiology, including 1 year performing mammograms.
  • Ability to assimilate changes in technical Radiographic settings.


Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to make decisions in a high-volume environment
  • Technical skills in the fields of Radiology and Mammography.
