Test Lead

Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a Test Lead.

Job Description:

Job Title: Test Lead

Job Location: Pleasanton or Plano

Work Schedule: Hybrid Onsite (3 days Onsite)

Rate: $55/hr on W2, Based on experience

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all the system quality deliverables of the project(s)
• Works closely with the stakeholders to understand goals, requirements and architecture of the project(s)
• Ensures that the Performance Test Lead is looped into the project during the requirements stage
• Develops and reviews the Test Plan with stakeholder
• Drives the project test team to test effectively and efficiently to meet quality standards and deadlines
• Follows testing standards and processes
• Communicates risk and mitigation plans for the project(s)
• Helps resolve issues/remove roadblocks for the project test team and/or escalates accordingly
• Provides regular quality status updates to stakeholder

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
• 2+ years related experience including exposure to testing automation tools
• Web service technology experience
• Experience with authoring and executing test plans
• Understands and uses testing methodologies and processes
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile)
• Organizational and troubleshooting skills
• Experience uncovering and clearly documenting defects with attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
• Passion for quality
• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training and a strong aptitude for delivering quality products
