Position Overview
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support MOCVD manufacturing and engineering activities focused on multi-wafer production reactors for high-voltage device fabrication. This role involves hands-on process development, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to advance next-generation GaN-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support MOCVD process manufacturing and engineering operations for high-voltage device production.
- Develop and optimize MOCVD recipes based on device structures and design requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MOCVD material growth issues to ensure consistent performance and quality.
- Monitor and improve equipment performance metrics, productivity, and process stability.
- Ensure all epitaxial materials comply with SPC (Statistical Process Control) standards.
- Support and document production action plans, FMEA analyses, and corrective actions.
- Drive yield enhancement and equipment uptime improvement initiatives for ongoing epitaxial wafer production.
- Collaborate closely with Device and Foundry Engineering teams to develop advanced high-voltage FETs for next-generation low- and high-power applications.
- Participate in reactor maintenance activities as needed.
- Work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to all good manufacturing and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Master s degree in Materials Science or related engineering discipline required; Ph.D. preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in MOCVD manufacturing of III-V nitride materials.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise in GaN material growth and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Veeco MOCVD tools strongly preferred.
- Additional Requirements:
- Availability for a split-week schedule, including partial weekend coverage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
